Laird Law Firm provides quality legal services in a broad range of areas including, but not limited to, business/corporate transactions and counseling, estate planning and estate and trust administration, family law, litigation, and real estate transactions.
Responsibilities for this position include welcoming clients and other visitors, answering and forwarding phone calls in a professional manner, handling inquiries, managing mail, , providing assistance with day-to-day tasks for attorneys and staff including assisting with copying, scanning, faxing, and emailing, preparing meeting facilities, and communicating between legal staff and clients.
Candidates must have the ability to confidentially manage legal documentation and correspondence.
This role requires strong attention to detail and excellent communication and organizational skills and a professional demeanor.
Qualified applicants have prior experience in a legal or office setting, and general knowledge of office technology and software.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
